Penguin Book Cover

I am happy with how this design came out. I would have liked to add a more psychedelic feel to it, but I really like the retro styling and the back page being a world tour poster. The most successful part of the design in my opinion would be the fur coat on Daisy as I am rally proud of how it turned out, and the background itself. I am glad I chose to add the slight detailing of the stars, I feel like, while subtle, it helps bring the entire design together. The font I chose was WONKERBAR. I think it gave a nice final look to the image with how the serifs fit together - especially on the authors name. The least successful part of this image would be the earing, I wish I had gone back and added more detail to define it. As an important part of Daisy character, I feel like it gets a bit lost. Developing thumbnails further. 1.  I went with a design of a music note, instrument, sheet music compilation that extended from the front to the spine and continued onto the back. 2.  Daisy listening to music with musical memorabilia in her hair. The back is surrounded with the same memorabilia.
